Getting Your Content Seen

Posted by Alison Lindemann On April - 28 - 2010

Once you have the bulk of your online content created, you can use it both on and off of your website. Consider starting a blog and uploading new and fresh content every week so that your prospects will continue to visit your website.

Facebook is another great option to deliver content. You can connect your blog RSS feed to Facebook so all your blog posts are automatically published to your Facebook wall and page. As mentioned previously, turning your textual content into various formats also allows you to upload your content to free content sharing sites where thousands of prospects can download your content. It’s always important to include your website links inside of your content when uploading to content sharing sites; otherwise you’re just giving content away for free with no return. Always create a call to action inside your content. It is best to place a couple links throughout the content and one at the very end, which drives viewers back to your site.

Lastly, a little creativity can go a long way. Just remember content can come in all shapes and forms. Research what others are doing and track results. If you find that video drives customers to your website, keep making videos.  The same goes for any type of digital marketing content. What matters most is giving your customers options and giving them the information they need to make a buying decision.
