Happy to report that last week’s WSI Convention in Birmingham, UK was a huge success! Having WSI Internet Consultants come together from around the world brought great new, innovative insights and strategies to the table. 
One topic I found particularly exciting to present at our Think Tank Convention was on a new business problem-solving strategy called Crowdsourcing. Think of it as the modern take on outsourcing. But rather than sending your business problems to an individual to solve, Crowdsourcing involves sending it out to a crowd or your community of consumers through the Internet. It’s an open call that invites a variety of opinions and contributions. And the best part: problems can be explored, evaluated and solved at comparatively little cost. Some businesses who have mastered the process of crowdsourcing are Pepsi, Threadless and Amazon. Like these companies, crowdsourcing will give your business the ability to gain first-hand insight into your customers’ needs and desires.
