The Entrepeneur’s Source Coach Chris Hill, helped place our newest WSI Franchisee couple David and Gina Cheek.  Our team at WSI always enjoys working with The Entrepreneur’s Source Coaches due to the high quality of their candidates.  Chris from TES guided his candidate through the WSI franchise selection process and their feedback is featured here:

From my very first conversation with my client David, it was obvious that he was a passionate sales and business development executive with all the qualifications to own and operate a business.  His history of growing start-ups, leading turnarounds and expanding market shares for established market leaders are critical skills for a successful entrepreneur.  And how can you question the passion of the author of the book, Got Passion.

When we added his sales, business development, coaching, consulting, negotiating, presentation, and client relationship building talents to his profile, it is no surprise that he was a perfect match for WSI.  As David began to evaluate different business opportunities, it became obvious that WSI provided a great business model for his business, lifestyle and financial goals.  There is no doubt in my mind that a man with David’s passion and talents will be another WSI success story.  I wish him and his wife, Gina, the very best in their new business. David and Gina Cheek – WSI Digital Marketing Consultants

It’s been said, “If you have passion for what you do for a living, you’ll never work another day in your life”.  David lives that to such a degree that he wrote a best-selling book, “Got Passion?” to share his insights with others.  Prior to joining WSI, he was/is a professional speaker , where he has inspired and challenged thousands of people across the country to discover their passion, and then harness that passion to improve their performance at work, as well as enhancing their personal relationships with family and friends.  His philosophy is simply, have “Passion with Attitude”, which he lives 24/7. In addition to being a speaker and author, David has 16 years experience in the insurance business, beginning as an independent broker.  After building a successful block of business for 3+ years, he joined the ranks of corporate America working for several Fortune 200 companies in the insurance business, first as a salesperson, then into the executive level as manager/director and Vice President of Sales.

Prior to his success in the insurance business, he owned a print brokerage company for almost 10 years and missed “being his own boss”.  So, he looked into franchises, and chose WSI because of the opportunistic industry, the international reputation, the relatively low overhead, the training, and the systems/processes.  It was a very easy, albeit thorough, experience working with David Bansley and Jam Hashmi at WSI, as well as Chris Hill at TES, who gave a lot of advice and encouragement along the way.  And during the due diligence process, he spoke with at least 10 current Internet Consultants (franchisees) who were very helpful, friendly, and open when answering the many questions that were asked.

In closing, David played football and graduated with honors from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.  His greatest accomplishment, however, is that of being a husband to his WSI partner, Gina, and Dad to his three children, currently 17, 14, and 10 years of age.
