Peter started looking at Franchising in November 2010.  After taking redundancy in 2009 and taking some time out in 2010, he was ready to explore options for a new career.  Peter’s background was in IT and business project management and he had a real passion and drive to succeed.  After profiling Peter and finding out about his longer term goals I found 4 very strong opportunities for him to investigate.   Peter was very diligent in his investigations but early on it became quite obvious that WSI was a top contender.  The model, the people and the returns fit well and after a few great meetings, he was very keen to progress.

The other key component in the due diligence process was working closely with our partners at WSI to ensure the information flow was at the right pace and timely.  By having regular dialogues with Dave we were able to ensure that Pete had the information he needed at each stage of his investigation and were both able to answer any questions or concerns that arose together.  This also showed Peter transparency and a level of professionalism instilled in the MatchPoint and WSI process. – Sonia Johnston, MatchPoint Consultant

My name is Pete Waller and in early November 2010, I decided to look at starting a business and used Matchpoint to help me align potential franchises that fitted my profile. Four franchises were highlighted as strong possibilities. They covered a number of different disciplines and varied greatly in challenge and offering. WSI soon stood out for me for a number of reasons. The online presentation with the Account Manager and the process of going through the online Applicant Learning Centre, gave me the confidence that I was dealing with a relaxed professional organization. One which has a Global reach and operates locally, one which has strong family values and would enable me to meet a large number of my personal and business goals.  This was affirmed by my conversations with existing WSI franchisees and my meetings with the WSI selection committee members.
